HELLO Everyone
My name is Dorin and my partners name is Sylvia and we have decided to start this new organization called Foster Parent Advocacy INC and United fosterparents Consultants This program focuses on helping the foster parents to get all the services to help the children that are in care.
I have been a foster parent for 9 years and I have experienced a lot of problems with the foster care agencies when trying to obtain the proper assistance for the kids in care. We would like to advocate, provide assistance and support, create focus groups and workshops, provide legal advice and proper training for foster parents.
Our primary focus is on educating the foster parents so that they know what their rights are. We plan on setting up workshops to help the the birth parents work together with the foster parents to help the child in care to be reunited with their parents. We want to help agencies in reducing disruptions in placements and keep stability with the child that they may have in their home. we need fosterparents to join our organization.
We want to hold the agencies accountable and make sure that the kids in care get all the services to help them during this transitional period. We want to bring awareness about these issues that are going on in the foster care agencies and stop the abuse toward foster parents. We want to make sure that the lack of services and the incompetence in foster care agencies toward the children and families cease to exist. Prevention, Educate, Awareness and Assistance is what we want to offer to the families.
We would like to offer Mapp Training class so that we can train the fosterparents in our workshops that we want to offer.The fosterparents can be educated and effective in helping the child that is in their home. Thank you for your time.
